The Ruby Racer
Two of the things we do best at The Frontside are Ruby and JavaScript.
The Ruby Racer brings these two magnificent technologies together by embedding Google’s V8 JavaScript engine directly into a Ruby process. There are myriad mind-bending ways to use this powerful library, one of which powers the asset pipeline in the majority of today’s modern rails applications.
Jenkins CI
Continuous integration is as fundamental to our development process as version control.
And for this fundamental task, we love the Jenkins CI server. In fact, we love Jenkins so much that we not only designed and donated the logo, but we also developed an entire tool chain to let developers write plugins in Ruby instead of Java and make extending Jenkins a snap.
